When Mort is equipped it shows the box art from his source game with Peppino looking dejected on the corner like the chicken is a Spotlight-Stealing Squad.Compared to the other, more absurd images, it's hilarious in its mundanity.
When lining up a shot with Greaseball, it shows a realistic looking Peppino in golf attire wielding a putter.Ball Peppino shows him in the middle of being kicked like a soccer ball.Knight Peppino depicts him as a proper Knight in Shining Armor, muscular with a badass looking sword, which contrasts with the real Peppino's ill-fitting armor and dinky little knife.Sometimes the TV shows other stuff depending on Peppino's transformations:.Starting out he looks ready to cry, but build up momentum and he suddenly turns into a psycho.Special mention goes to the faces Peppino makes on the TV screen in the upper right corner.If you use the left save file, the TV there will display Peppino with a look of furthered dejection, hinting at his near-constant attitude towards his adventure.The devs really pushed the envelope on how much he emotes. Sometimes he makes a relatively normal look, mainly his annoyed expressions, but the rest of the time, it seems like he's torn between bursting into tears or just running towards the nearest living thing and killing it.
